BEAT THE HEAT with this NUTRITIONIST APPROVED recipe for ICE CREAM!!!!!! Don't tell your friends that it's healthy and see what they say!!!!
BANANAS are PACKED full of B Vitamins that give us ENERGY and lower our stress levels to make us SMILE!!!!
Banana Ice Cream!
Serves 2-4 depending on serving size
2-3 frozen bananas
2 Tbsp. cocoa powder (add more if you’re a chocoholic like me!)
1 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla (optional)
1 tsp. walnuts (optional)
Chop frozen banana into small pieces, process in food processor or high powered blender (like a vitamix) with cocoa and cinnamon until smooth. You may need to stop the processor a couple times and give it a stir to make sure the bananas are blending smoothly. Top with walnuts or your favourite granola.
Variations: Leave out the cocoa powder and add frozen strawberries, blueberries, mango, or fruit of choice, or add toasted almonds, pecans or coconut flakes for a little crunch and extra flavour.
