At just 17 years old, Malala is the youngest person to ever win the Nobel Peace Prize! As a child, Malala became an advocate for girls’ education. On October 9, 2012 a gunman shot Malala when she was on her way home from school. She survived, and has continued to speak out on the importance of girl’s education.
